Number 1: “Never let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game.” 

Please please tell me you have heard this quote, it is from one of my all time favorite movies, A Cinderella Story.

I love that movie, and I love the quote. You should never let the fear of messing up, or the possibility of failing stop you from trying something; and you’ll never know if you do not try. When I first started my blog, I was scared and part of me did not even want to try, but this quote popped in my head so I knew I had to give it and shot and I am glad I did.

Number 2: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

This one is a bible verse, Philippians 4:13 — and this one is really about trusting in God and knowing no matter what happens, everything is going to be okay.

And for this quote, even if you don’t believe in God, which is perfectly okay, it still allows you to believe and know that whatever you believe in is going to take care of you.

Number 3: “Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen.” 

This quote is by the queen B herself, Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl). Now, if you wait for destiny it doesn’t make you a loser — I just love her determination and will power to fight for what she wants in life and not wait to have them handed to you.

Number 4: “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”

One of my all time favorites, and I am sure a lot of you have heard of by Maya Angelou. This is what we need to seek out of life, living in the moment and in complete awe. Never stop searching for the world and yourself and allow it to take your breathe away and feel it.

Number 5: “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

And last, but not least this lovely quote by Eleanor Roosevelt. She’s right, do not let people allow you to feel inferior. They cannot MAKE you feel that way, so do not let them. Stand strong, and be you.

  14. Oh l love the all! I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me…is one of my favourite verses and I felt the same way when I started my blog too but I was blown away by the feedback after my first post. Now I know for sure I can do ALL things! Thanks for sharing!

  18. #3 is my favorite. in this day in age if you want something to happen you have to get up and make it happen. i wish others would follow this as i know first hand others never think outside the box. thanks for this reminder

  27. I love all these quotes. The first one and last one are my favorites. I am always afraid to try something new for fear of failing. And the last one I think is especially important in this day and age of technology and social media, where it seems people are almost trying to make you feel bad about yourself.

  36. These are all some of my favorite quotes. I think that a lot of people fail to hit their goals because they give up too quickly or just rely on luck. Even the people who follow things like mindset training that focuses on your energy and the universe know that you also have to take action. Great collection.
